My grandpa and I had to go to Denton today to take my dog Annie to the vet. On the way back, we saw this adorable church pumpkin patch he wanted to stop at. I picked out a couple pumpkins for a near-future project I've always wanted to do. I came to the conclusion that pumpkins are weird. But it made me feel like fall was actually going to happen soon. There were a couple of days at the beginning of the month that felt like fall, but it's been summer hot since. That's why I called this post "fallstart" as a sort of play on words for it being a false start for the season. Hopefully it comes along soon though.
